General Graduate Program Requirements
IARSAC International University offers admission to applicants whose records demonstrate the highest potential for graduate study and promise for substantial contribution to both their academic professions and to a diverse, global society. The university fosters an environment that welcomes inclusiveness.
Admission decisions are based on many factors, such as the quality of the applicant’s prior academic degree and record of accomplishment, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation from professors or others familiar with the applicant’s academic work, performance in aptitude and achievement tests, relevant work experience, preparation in the proposed field of study, and the connection of the applicant’s academic goals with the faculty’s research interests.
Graduate admission is granted to a specific department. Applicants are expected to hold baccalaureate degrees from accredited colleges or universities prior to registration as graduate students. Three-year United States bachelor’s degree recipients are eligible for admission. Applicants with three-year baccalaureate degrees from countries that are not from the United States may also be considered for admission, on a case-by-case basis, using a holistic review.
Applicants are considered on the basis of their academic record and other performance requirements determined by the individual programs. These may include minimum GPAs, minimum scores on the GRE, GMAT or other standardized exams, personal statements or interviews, examples of work, or letters of recommendation.
In order to be admitted to IARSAC International University as a graduate student, a student must have earned a four-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a college or university that is accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting association. Some doctoral or certificate programs may require a master's degree.
Applicants for a master’s or doctoral degree program should have achieved a 3.0 (or equivalent) grade point index or higher from the institution where a baccalaureate degree or higher was awarded to be admitted without conditions of continued enrollment. Some graduate programs have requirements for admission that exceed the general Office of the Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars requirements.
Please note that academic performance is not the sole criterion for admission to the university. The university may evaluate a person's behavior and background to determine their ability to maintain the standards of academic and professional conduct expected at the university. An evaluation may take into consideration current behavior and performance as well as past experiences and actions.
Applicants who disclose that they are ineligible to enroll at any college or university that they attended within the last seven years for student conduct reasons will be automatically declined admission at IIU. Applicants who disclose that the reason for their ineligibility is for academic reasons will be admitted only if they meet IIU’s minimum academic requirements. All applicants who are denied admission have the right to appeal that decision, and appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Transcripts
Application review

<

To complete your application you must:
- Upload transcripts from the educational institution where you received your bachelor’s degree and any courses taken beyond regardless of whether a degree was received.

Multiple Programs
Applying to Multiple Programs in One Academic Year
If applying for a graduate program with multiple sequence options, all applicants are required to select one program sequence at the time of their application submission. Applying for multiple sequences within a graduate program is not permitted. However, you may add an additional sequence to your program of study after successful completion of your first semester of the graduate program with program coordinator approval. Applicants may apply for multiple graduate programs if desired, provided a unique application is submitted for each individual program. This intention must be communicated to the Graduate School prior to any application submissions. Application fees for graduate programs are non-refundable.
