Transfer Applicant
International applicants who wish to transfer from another regionally accredited U.S. college or university may submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or another score; students who no longer have a valid TOEFL, IELTS, or another score can petition to have their English proficiency evaluated through the Oral English Proficiency Test. Students who wish to transfer from a school in a country where English is the official language for higher education will not be required to demonstrate English proficiency.
The English language proficiency requirement is waived for international applicants who transfer from a U.S. college or university with 12 or more semester hours of transferable credits. Students without 12 hours of transferable credit may submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or another score. Students who do not have 12 semester hours of transferable credit and who no longer have a valid TOEFL, IELTS, or another score may request to have their English proficiency evaluated through the Oral English Proficiency Test.
